2019 RESULTS

Consolidated annual analytical report Rail.insider 2019 RESULTS includes information on the main factors influencing the rail freight market in 2019, namely:

• Changes in regulatory documents, acts and contracts of the Carrier – the essence of the changes and their impact on the rail freight market. Also, changes that were planned, but did not take place;
• Volumes of rail freight transportation, including by type of connections (domestic, export, import, transit) and by nomenclature;
• Tariffs – a description of the events related to tariff changes in 2018-2019. How these events affected last year’s rail freight transport. Deregulation of the rail car/wagon component, Prozorro.Sales, indexation of the infrastructure component and additional fees, implementation of the organization of transportation according to the schedule of the movement of freight block trains. • Analysis of changes in the turnover of the JSC “Ukrainian Railways” car by types of rolling stock;
• Changes in the deficit / surplus of the gondola cars and grain wagons fleet during the year, and how they affected the cost of rent and the efficiency of its use. Indicators of the use of rolling stock of the JSC “Ukrainian Railways”;
• Performance indicators of car repair work in 2017-2019;
• Comparison of volumes of transportation and cargo turnover in rail and road transport.
